Emma Rose Roberts was born on February 10, 1991 in New York. She is a niece of famous actresses Julia Roberts and Lisa Roberts Gillan who inspired her to become an actress too.When she was 9 she got her first role in a "Blow" movie, where young star played a Kristina Sunshine Jung. In the same year, Emma Roberts got the role in the short movie "bigLove". Then she played small roles in such movies as "Grand Champion" where she was a sister of the main movie character and "Spymate" where she was a kidnapped daughter of the former special agent.

In September 2004, 13 years old Emma Roberts became famous to the whole US. She got the lead role in thecomedy series "Unfabulous" on the Nickelodeon channel. Emma Roberts' character Addie Singer – seventh grader who writes the songs about a school life. During three seasons were shown about 42 episodes. This sitcom earned her a Teen Choice Award nomination and several Young Artist Award nominations. Also Roberts starred in one episode of "Drake and Josh" series.
